Ciputat, FIKES News Online,– The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta received a visit from PT BASS Training Center and Consultant, PT Bintang Anugrah Surya Semesta. The meeting was attended by the Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and Institutional Affairs, the Dean of FIKES, Vice Deans I and III of FIKES, heads of study programs, and the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Collaboration Team. Wednesday (September 10, 2025).

On this occasion, representatives from PT BASS presented their company profile and experience in training, consulting, and competency certification. In addition, PT BASS offered collaboration opportunities with universities, particularly in the development of human resources in healthcare, and offered free basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) training.

In his remarks, the Dean of FIKES expressed his appreciation for PT BASS's visit and emphasized FIKES's commitment to continuously strengthening its competency-based curriculum, developing soft skills, and enhancing graduate competitiveness. He also added that FIKES has adequate resources in the form of expert staff and supporting facilities, although it currently lacks a certified training institution. Therefore, collaboration with external parties is a strategic opportunity that deserves careful consideration.

Meanwhile, the Vice Dean III of FIKES for Collaboration stated that the offer of free training on AI was very positive, but he hoped that similar programs could also cover other fields relevant to the needs of students and healthcare workers.

Closing the meeting, the Vice Rector IV welcomed PT BASS's initiative to collaborate with UIN Jakarta, while emphasizing the importance of considering the sustainability and benefits of the collaboration for both parties. For follow-up, both FIKES and PT BASS agreed to conduct further studies before determining the appropriate form of collaboration. (UK)
