Achieving International Standards: FIKES UIN Jakarta Attains ASIIN International Accreditation

FIKES Online News – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again achieved global recognition by receiving international accreditation from ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik). This decision was made at the ASIIN Accreditation Commission meeting on March 27, 2026, which approved accreditation for five study programs within the FIKES health cluster.

This accreditation is valid until September 30, 2030, the maximum duration ASIIN can grant. This achievement confirms that study programs within FIKES UIN Jakarta have met and exceeded international quality standards in terms of curriculum, learning processes, human resources, and academic governance.

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Jakarta, Prof. Zilhadia, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for this achievement. "Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), I would like to thank the entire team for their dedication and extraordinary work. Our five excellent study programs have now all achieved ASIIN accreditation. This achievement is a clear testament to the commitment and collective work of the entire academic community, from lecturers and educational staff to students and the support of university leadership." Continuous evaluation, learning innovation, and a commitment to quality improvement are key to maintaining this international accreditation, he said.

This success not only demonstrates FIKES's consistency in maintaining the quality of higher education but also strengthens UIN Jakarta's position as an institution capable of competing globally. With this recognition, FIKES graduates are expected to be more competitive, both in the national and international workforce.

With this accreditation extension, FIKES at UIN Jakarta is committed to continuously improving the quality of education, expanding its international network, and producing graduates who are superior, possess integrity, and are able to contribute to global health development. (JH)
