Denta Collab 2026: Strengthening the Synergy Between DENTA and PRC KMUP Through Collaboration, Discussion, and Togetherness
Jakarta, FIKES Online News – The spirit of collaboration and the strengthening of student organization networks were reflected in the implementation of Denta Collab 2026, which took place at Pancasila University on Saturday (September 5). The event was attended by 54 participants, consisting of 35 members from the Disaster & Emergency Nursing Team (DENTA) and 19 members from the Red Cross of the Pancasila University Student Association (PRC KMUP). The program aimed to strengthen inter-organizational relationships while serving as a platform for sharing experiences and organizational knowledge.
The event officially began at 9:20 AM WIB and was hosted by two Masters of Ceremony (MCs), Fandi from PRC KMUP and Siti Aisyiah from DENTA. The opening session commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Rifa, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, as a symbol of respect and nationalism.
Participants then attended a series of welcoming remarks delivered by Rachel Alydia, Chairperson of the Denta Collab 2026 Organizing Committee; Alvi Laila Fitrya, President of DENTA for the 2026/2027 term; and the Commander of PRC KMUP. Through their speeches, the organizational leaders expressed their hope that this event would become a productive and sustainable space for collaboration between the two organizations. The opening session concluded with a group photo as documentation before proceeding to the main agenda.
To create a warm and friendly atmosphere, the event began with an ice-breaking session, which successfully helped participants become more comfortable with one another. Following this, the organizing committee explained the procedures and rules of the Mission Card, an interactive activity designed to encourage participation and engagement throughout the program.
The agenda then continued with an organizational introduction session. During this session, both DENTA and PRC KMUP presented their organizational profiles, flagship programs, and various achievements. The activity provided an opportunity for both organizations to get to know each other more closely while broadening their understanding of each other's operational systems and organizational management practices.
The discussion became even more engaging during the interactive Q&A session. Representatives from PRC KMUP raised several questions regarding DENTA’s field deployment (turlap) mechanism, time management for field activities, the existence of a dedicated division responsible for field operations, and the organization's new member recruitment process.
In response, DENTA explained that its field deployment activities are generally conducted through partnerships with various organizations, with members serving as field volunteers. To maintain a balance between academic responsibilities and organizational commitments, turlap activities are usually scheduled on weekends during the academic semester or on weekdays during holiday periods. In addition, junior members are required to undergo training and pass a competency assessment before they can participate directly in field assignments. Meanwhile, the recruitment process for new members is typically opened in March and consists of socialization, registration, and interview stages.
Conversely, DENTA also sought information regarding the field deployment mechanism implemented by PRC KMUP. In its presentation, PRC explained that field activities are generally carried out based on invitations or collaborative programs with partner organizations, particularly the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). Given the organization's relatively limited number of members, field assignments are usually entrusted to experienced members. Furthermore, PRC routinely conducts training sessions every Saturday, covering various topics aimed at enhancing members’ capacities, without requiring a specific competency examination before deployment to the field.
Following the discussion session, the event continued with the symbolic presentation of certificates as a form of appreciation for the participation and contributions of both organizations in Denta Collab 2026. The program then proceeded with a Campus Tour, providing participants with the opportunity to become more familiar with the facilities and campus environment of Pancasila University.
During the break period, all participants and committee members took part in the ISHOMA session (rest, prayer, and lunch). Afterwards, the spirit of togetherness grew even stronger through the Secret Appreciation activity, which provided participants with a creative and positive platform to share their impressions, messages, and appreciation for one another.
As the event drew to a close, participants took part in the collection and raffle of the Mission Cards they had successfully completed throughout the program. This session was lively and filled with enthusiasm, becoming one of the most highly anticipated moments of the event.
The excitement of Denta Collab 2026 concluded with a variety of entertainment activities that fostered togetherness, ranging from talent and artistic performances presented by representatives of both DENTA and PRC KMUP to a shared Karaoke Time session. The warm and friendly atmosphere that prevailed throughout the event demonstrated the program’s success in strengthening the bonds among members of the two organizations.
The official series of activities was brought to a close with a prayer led by Abdi Tanu Wijaya, followed by closing remarks from the MCs and a joint documentation session. Through Denta Collab 2026, DENTA and PRC KMUP not only succeeded in strengthening inter-organizational ties but also created a platform for sharing experiences, knowledge, and organizational practices that are expected to support the future development of their members’ capacities.
