Malaysia, Online Fikes News – The Pharmacy Major of UIN Jakarta proudly highlights the achievements of its fifth-semester students, Siti Aura Nur Rohmah and Nadine Hasna Naissa, who have embarked on a transformative journey through the student mobility program at Management and Science University (MSU) in Malaysia. Commencing on October 8, 2024, this program offers an extraordinary opportunity for international exposure and hands-on learning in the dynamic field of pharmaceutical sciences.

The program’s first week laid a strong foundation for the students, starting with an engaging session led by Dr. Santosh. They participated in visits to the pharmacy unit and inpatient case discussions, sharpening their understanding of patient care. The week also included a pharmacology lab session focusing on animal handling, enhancing their clinical competencies. A standout moment was their visit to the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Clinic at MSU Medical Center under the guidance of Ms. Annie, where they explored traditional practices, including herbal preparations, acupuncture, and diagnostic procedures in TCM.

In their second week, the students expanded their horizons by participating in the global seminar "The Role of Youth Leaders in Sustainable Development," fostering insightful discussions on youth leadership and sustainability. They also engaged in outpatient care case studies, acquired hands-on experience in community pharmacy services, and explored the therapeutic potential of medicinal plants at the MSU Herbal Repository Garden.

This program underscores UIN Jakarta's commitment to producing well-rounded pharmacy professionals who are adept at integrating global perspectives into healthcare practices. The student mobility initiative continues to empower future pharmacists with invaluable experiences, preparing them to meet and exceed international standards in pharmaceutical and healthcare services.

Expressing his pride, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si. emphasized the significance of this milestone for UIN Jakarta students. "This is a proud moment for our faculty to see our students participating in a globally recognized program at MSU Malaysia.
