Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) UIN Jakarta Holds LAM-PTKes Accreditation

Online Fikes News,- The Faculty of Health Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held an accreditation visitation activity for LAM-PTKes (Indonesian Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Health Education) for four days on April 23-26, 2025. The activity took place at the RRU of the Faculty of Health Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

The Head of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, representing the Chancellor, officially opened the Field Assessment activity organized by LAM-PTKes for the Pharmacy Study Program and the Pharmacist Profession Study Program. In his remarks, the Head of LPM conveyed the Chancellor's message that the field assessment is an important part of the accreditation process to improve the academic quality and professionalism of graduates.

Prof. Dr. Khamami, M.A as the Head of LPM, emphasized the hope that this assessment can provide optimal results in supporting the development of the Pharmacy Study Program and the Pharmacist Profession Study Program. The assessors who were present to conduct the assessment were Dr. Rer. Nat. Liling Triyasmono S. Farm., M.Sc., apt. Andi Alfian, S.Si., M.Si., and Dr. apt. Sofyan, S.Si., M.Si., who were warmly welcomed by the university.

Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES), Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Sc., conveyed the achievement of FIKES which has obtained international accreditation from ASIIN. This achievement is concrete evidence of the faculty's commitment to improving the quality of education while strengthening the competitiveness of graduates at the global level. The Dean also expressed his hope that through this field assessment, the Pharmacy Study Program and the Pharmacist Profession Study Program can achieve superior accreditation as a form of success in maintaining quality education standards.

The assessment activity agenda in addition to filling out the accreditation form also includes interviews with alumni and graduate users and visits by assessors to strategic network partners, including Pisangan Health Center, Fatmawati General Hospital, Sehat Bersama Pharmacy, Kimia Farma Plant, and Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution. The interviews aim to obtain input regarding the quality of graduates and the relevance of their skills to the needs of the workforce, while this visit aims to directly review the learning process in the network and is expected to be an important evaluation material for the development of study programs in the future.
