Fikes Holds 3rd ICHS at Sultan Hotel Jakarta
The Sultan Hotel and Residence, Jakarta, Fikes Online News — The 3rd (ICHS) International Conference on Health Sciences is a biennial Fikes program in organizing international events. The conference was held offline at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta with the theme of the development of health sciences on Thursday (8/8/2024). This event was held as a follow-up activity to the collaboration meeting between UIN Jakarta and Tohoku University on Wednesday (7/8/2024).
This event began with an opening by the head of the ICHS event, Fajar Ariyanti, S.K.M., M.Kes., Ph.D., who proudly welcomed this international conference which aims to continue building collaboration and innovation in the world of health.
"This conference is to strengthen health professionals through religiosity, collaboration and innovation for global health resilience," he said.
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Apt. Zilhadia, M.Sc., gave a speech for this event. Zilhadia thanked the collaboration partners who had participated in building this event to continue moving in the health sector.
Next, the remarks by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., said that he was proud to attend this event. He hopes that this event will bring developments in the world of health and UIN Jakarta can continue to collaborate with partners in the future.
"This international conference will develop collaboration between UIN Jakarta and several universities, such as Professor exchange, student exchange and others," explained the Rector of UIN Jakarta.
Then the event was officially opened by the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Saiful Rahmat Basuki, S.I.P, M.Si., "The Importance of Religiosity for Strengthening Health Professionals", accompanied by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., Vice Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., Fajar Ariyanti, S.K.M., M.Kes., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Apt. Zilhadia, M.Si., with the symbolism of the opening.
In his remarks, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs emphasized that the importance of harmony of faith and piety in religion must continue to go hand in hand in improving the world of health.
"I hope UIN Jakarta will continue to prioritize faith and piety in the development of the world of health," said Saiful.
Then the event continued with the first session in the form of material on The Role of Health Professionals for Global Health Resilience moderated by Dewi Utami and Hitoshi Oshitani, MD as a representative of Tohoku University and Watcara Tabootwong, a representative of Bhurapa University Thailand as speakers.
Hitoshi Oshitani explained that collaboration between universities, especially in the health sector, will have a major impact on the development of science. Therefore, he warmly welcomed this event.
Furthermore, in the second session with a discussion of Strengthening Health Professionals through Religiosity and Collaboration for Global Health by Narila Mutia Nasir, S.K.M., M.K.M., Ph.D. as moderator and speakers namely Prof. Hazniuiza representative of the University of Malaysia, Dr. Yasuko Nagamatsu representative of ST Luke University, Japan, and Febi Dwi Rahmadi, Ph.D representative of Griffith University.
In addition, this International conference also became a discussion forum for invited guests, both lecturers and students. The invited guests were very enthusiastic about attending this event because the discussion on the world of health was considered to have a great impact on the world community.
