FIKES News Online,– The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a meeting to mark the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year on Monday, August 25, 2025. Held in the Main Meeting Room (RRU) of the FKIK Building, the event was attended by all lecturers and educational staff as a form of academic consolidation and strengthening institutional commitment.

In his remarks, FIKES Dean Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si., reiterated the importance of understanding and practicing the faculty's vision and mission as the primary foundation for carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. He encouraged the entire academic community to maintain integrity, professionalism, and religious values ​​in every aspect of academic activities and service.

Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nurmeilis, M.Sc., Apt., presented the academic achievements for the even semester of 2024/2025, including the successful completion of the National Competency Test for Nursing Profession (100%) and Pharmacist Profession (98.3%).

In addition, two master's programs, the Master of Pharmaceutical Science and the Master of Public Health, have obtained Operational Permit Decrees, marking a significant step forward in the development of higher education at FIKES.

Entering the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has admitted 505 new students across five study programs: Public Health (164 students), Pharmacy (136 students), Nursing (138 students), Pharmacy Profession (60 students), and Master of Pharmacy (7 students).

The Master of Pharmacy study program, a new program this semester, has officially admitted its first cohort of seven students, marking the start of the master's degree program in pharmacy within FIKES. The introduction of this program is a strategic step in expanding access to higher education and strengthening the faculty's academic capacity.

Nurmeilis further stated that over the past three years, the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has consistently achieved on-time graduation rates. In 2023, the percentage of graduates who successfully completed their studies within the standard study period reached 82.37%, increasing to 85.50% in 2024. Meanwhile, in 2025, despite only entering the middle of the academic year, the on-time graduation rate reached 84.53%, nearly matching the previous year's figure. This achievement reflects the effectiveness of academic strategies, improved mentoring services, and the commitment of the entire academic community to optimally support student academic success.

With renewed vigor at the start of the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the Faculty of Health Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving educational quality, expanding academic access, and strengthening institutional governance. Evaluation of academic achievements, strengthening of performance indicators, and the introduction of new study programs are clear evidence that FIKES focuses not only on sustainability but also on innovation and transformation of health education relevant to the challenges of the times.
