FIKES UIN Jakarta Celebrates the Graduation of 134 Students at the 141st Commencement Ceremony for Academic Year 2025/2026
Ciputat, FIKES Online News – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again achieved a proud milestone by sending off 134 graduates as part of the 141st Graduation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic year, held at the MK Tadjudin Auditorium in the FKIK building. The solemn send-off ceremony marked a significant moment for the graduates, who have completed their academic journeys and are now ready to apply their knowledge in the community or pursue higher education, on Thursday (September 3, 2026).
Of the total graduates, the Pharmacy Study Program contributed the highest number with 103 graduates, followed by the Public Health Study Program with 23 graduates, and the Nursing Science Study Program with 8 graduates. The success of these graduates serves as a testament to FIKES UIN Jakarta's commitment to producing competent and professional healthcare workers capable of competing at both national and international levels.
On this occasion, the faculty also recognized the top graduates from each study program who achieved *cum laude* honors. From the Pharmacy Study Program, the top graduate award went to Nurul Hidayah, who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.92. Meanwhile, the top graduate from the Public Health Study Program was Maryam (GPA 3.87), and the top graduate from the Nursing Science Study Program was Najma Nadhira Aljaziri (GPA 3.76).
Beyond academic excellence, FIKES UIN Jakarta students also demonstrated impressive achievements in various non-academic fields. Thirteen students received certificates of appreciation for their accomplishments at national and international levels. These awards were presented personally by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Zilhadia, M.Si., in recognition of the students' dedication and contributions in bringing honor to the faculty and university through various competitions. The graduation send-off ceremony was attended by faculty leadership, lecturers, and administrative staff, all of whom offered their support and appreciation for the graduates' achievements. An atmosphere of emotion and pride filled the event as the graduates were honored and recognized for the dedication and effort they demonstrated throughout their studies.
In her remarks, the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Yuli Amran, MKM, congratulated all the graduates on their success. She emphasized that successfully completing higher education was not merely the result of the students' own hard work, but also the fruit of family support, faculty guidance, and the academic environment that nurtured them during their studies.
Meanwhile, a representative of the graduates, Nurul Hidayah—the top graduate from the Pharmacy Study Program—delivered a speech. She expressed her gratitude for the success achieved alongside her fellow graduates and thanked the lecturers, administrative staff, and families who had supported them throughout their educational journey. Nurul encouraged all graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater and to apply the knowledge they had gained for the benefit of society.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Zilhadia, M.Si., delivered an inspiring message to the graduates. She reminded them that graduation is not the end of the learning process, but rather the beginning of a long journey toward developing personal capacity and contributing to the nation.
“Having reached this stage, do not become complacent. Continue moving forward to the next stages—pursuing further education at the master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) levels, and even aspiring to become a professor,” Prof. Zilhadia advised the graduates.
She noted that the healthcare sector is constantly evolving and requires human resources possessing high competence, adaptability, and a spirit of lifelong learning. Consequently, graduates are encouraged to continuously enhance their personal quality through further education, research, and diverse professional experiences.
The Dean also expressed her pride in the various institutional achievements attained by the Faculty of Health Sciences in recent years. A particularly proud achievement is that all three study programs within the faculty have secured the "Superior" (Unggul) accreditation rating and obtained international accreditation from ASIIN.
Furthermore, Prof. Zilhadia explained that ASIIN accreditation serves as international recognition, demonstrating that the implemented curriculum and learning systems meet European higher education standards. This achievement proves that the quality of education at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) UIN Jakarta is globally recognized, providing added value for graduates as they navigate competition in the workforce and pursue further education internationally.
The graduation send-off ceremony also included a prayer led by Nahya Syahida from the Pharmacy Study Program. Through this prayer, all attendees were invited to give thanks for the graduates' success and to seek blessings, ease, and success for the paths they will take in the future.
