FIKES UIN Jakarta Releases 212 Graduates at 137th Graduation Ceremony: Initial Steps Toward Service, Graduates Ready to Become Health Warriors with Integrity
FIKES Online News,-- The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held its 137th Graduation Ceremony and Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Prof. Bahtiar Effendy Auditorium. This event served as a moment of appreciation and farewell for the graduates who have completed their studies at FIKES UIN Jakarta.
A total of 212 graduates were officially released in a solemn and emotional ceremony. The event began with a recitation of the Quran by Insanul Kamil students, followed by the singing of Indonesia Raya, the UIN Jakarta Hymn, and the FIKES March. The graduation decree was read by the Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nurmeilis, M.Si., Apt., and the graduation ceremony was led by the Dean of FIKES, Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si.
In his remarks, the Dean expressed his gratitude for the graduates' achievements and emphasized the importance of embracing the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a role model in pursuing professional life as health graduates. He also highlighted the high number of on-time graduates, a new record for the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Jakarta.
The Dean encouraged the graduates to continue their struggle, make their parents happy, and avoid things that bring no blessings. He conveyed the entire faculty's apologies for any shortcomings during the educational process and encouraged alumni to continue contributing through alumni surveys as part of quality improvement and accreditation efforts.
Three graduates received cum laude honors, with the highest GPA being achieved by Rhisma Listya Margaretha from the Nursing Science Study Program (3.98). In her speech, Rhisma delivered an inspiring message about the importance of integrity, empathy, and real contribution amidst the nation's challenges. She emphasized that FIKES graduates must become health champions, not just healthcare workers.
Non-academic awards were also given to five graduates who were active as speakers, delegates, and achievers in various fields.
The event concluded with a prayer by Akhmad Ali Mustofa, followed by a friendly gathering and a group photo session between the prospective graduates and faculty leaders. An atmosphere filled with emotion and pride marked the end of the academic journey for the graduates, who are now ready to step into the professional world with enthusiasm, competence, and integrity.
