FIKES UIN Jakarta Welcomes Adjunct Professor from Thailand to Strengthen Nursing and Global Health Collaboration
Fikes Online News,– The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially welcomed Adjunct Professor Associate Professor Dr. Wannee Deoisres, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), Thailand, in a warm reception held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Main Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FIKES UIN Jakarta.
The ceremony marked the beginning of an international partnership aimed at strengthening research collaboration, academic mobility, and publication networks between Indonesia and Thailand.
The event was attended by Dean Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si., Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of the Nursing and Professional Nurse Programs, and the entire FIKES academic community.
In her remarks, Prof. Zilhadia emphasized that the appointment of an adjunct professor from abroad is part of UIN Jakarta’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and the advancement of globally engaged health education.
“We believe this collaboration will accelerate research innovation and bring our faculty closer to international recognition. We also look forward to learning greatly from Dr. Wannee’s rich research expertise and international experience,” she said.
During the session, each lecturer briefly introduced themselves and their areas of expertise, creating an engaging dialogue and warm academic atmosphere.
The exchange fostered mutual understanding and laid the groundwork for future cooperation in joint research and teaching initiatives.
The event concluded with a campus tour, where Professor Wannee visited the Nursing Laboratories and Clinical Practice Rooms, engaging in informal discussions with faculty members and expressing admiration for UIN Jakarta’s academic environment and facilities.

The Adjunct Professor Program itself serves as a strategic initiative to strengthen UIN Jakarta’s global partnerships and enhance its academic and research visibility. Through this program, international scholars such as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wannee Deoisres are invited to collaborate in teaching, mentoring, and joint research with UIN faculty members.
