FSK3 FIKES UIN Jakarta Holds Fire Emergency Response Training Through the STAMINA Program
FIKES Online News - The Occupational Safety and Health Study Forum (FSK3) of the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, successfully held a fire emergency response training activity through the FSK3 Science Department's work program, STAMINA (Emergency Response Simulation and K3 Training). The activity took place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 8:34 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. WIB, under the theme "Basic Fire Emergency Training."
The STAMINA activity was held to provide basic understanding and training in fire prevention, the use of a portable fire extinguisher (APAR), and a fire extinguishing simulation using simple tools to demonstrate preparedness for responding to fire emergencies quickly, accurately, and safely.
The activity took place in two locations: the Theater Room on the first floor of the FIKES Building, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, for the presentation session, and the FIKES Field, UIN Jakarta, for the practical session on fire prevention using wet burlap sacks and APAR.

The STAMINA event was attended by 39 FSK3 administrators from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta for the 2025/2026 term. Given that this program was the first of its kind during this year's term, the program's objectives remained focused internally as an initial step to strengthen the capacity of FSK3 members in the field of occupational safety and health.
The event began with an opening by the Master of Ceremonies (MC), a recitation of verses from the Quran, the singing of Indonesia Raya and the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Hymn, and remarks from the Chief Executive, the General Manager of FSK3 2025/2026, and the FSK3 Advisor.
The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Public Health Study Program expressed their appreciation for the event. The Dean and Study Program considered fire emergency response training highly relevant and important in building a safety culture on campus, particularly for Public Health students, who are closely related to the field of occupational safety and health (OSH). Furthermore, the faculty and study program also encouraged FSK3 to continue presenting educational, practical, and impactful programs for students and the community.
The core of the STAMINA activity was a presentation by Dr. Iting Shofwati, S.T., M.K.K.K., HIU, the speaker and Supervisor of FSK3 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In her presentation, she explained the basics of fire management, the importance of emergency preparedness, and the correct and safe use of fire extinguishers (APAR).
Following the presentation, the activity continued with a practical fire emergency response training session on the FIKES Building Field. Participants were given the opportunity to conduct a live fire simulation using wet burlap sacks and APARs to implement the material they had learned.
Furthermore, the speaker evaluated the participants on their fire emergency response practices to improve their understanding and skills in dealing with emergencies appropriately and effectively.
Toward the end of the event, the committee presented certificates to the speakers as a token of appreciation and gratitude for the knowledge and experience they had shared with the participants. The event then concluded with a prayer and a group photo session.

Through this STAMINA activity, it is hoped that all participants can improve their understanding of handling fire emergency situations and have better preparedness and alertness when facing emergency conditions, especially fires, both on campus and in the community (UK/CC)
