In early 2026, FIKES held a Faculty Leadership Meeting.
FIKES Online News—To kick off 2026, the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) held a faculty meeting led by the Dean of FIKES, Prof. Zilhadia. The meeting was attended by the dean's office, heads and secretaries of study programs, heads of laboratories, the head of the Quality Assurance Group (GJM), and representatives of the academic staff on Thursday (January 15, 2026).
The meeting agreed that in 2026, routine faculty meetings would be held every first Thursday of the month, starting at 9:00 a.m. WIB, and would be integrated with academic activities at the study program level. The Dean of FIKES encouraged the regular implementation of Journal Club activities as part of efforts to improve academic culture and strengthen scientific discourse within FIKES.

The faculty meeting also discussed various strategic agendas related to strengthening educational quality and academic governance. Discussions included preparations for faculty meetings for curriculum development, evaluation of Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), with plans to develop a CPMK evaluation template by the faculty, and the implementation of Student Lecturer Evaluations (EDOM) as a quality assurance instrument.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed preparations for the fast-track program for the Master of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health programs, as well as strategies and readiness for master's program accreditation. Other items on the agenda included preparations for the even semester, including identifying classroom needs and supporting facilities and infrastructure necessary to support the learning process.
In terms of learning, the meeting also highlighted the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in the Nursing Study Program, as part of strengthening the student-centered learning approach. Preparations for the Ramadan Tarhib (Tarhib Ramadan) activities, planned for four sessions, were also discussed.
Through this meeting, FIKES affirmed its commitment to continuously improving coordination, academic quality, and a sustainable scientific culture to support the achievement of the faculty's vision and mission in 2026. (UK/ZR)
