Nursing and Professional Nurse Programs UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Achieve "Excellent" Accreditation

The Nursing Study Program and the Professional Nurse Study Program have officially earned an "Excellent" accreditation rating from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes). The official decision is detailed in the Decree (SK) Number 0842/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/X2024 for the Nursing Study Program and Number 0843/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/X2024 for the Professional Nurse Study Program. This accomplishment was formally announced in November 2024 following an intensive evaluation process conducted in October 2024.
The accreditation process involved a comprehensive assessment of various aspects, including curriculum, teaching quality, supporting facilities, and graduate performance. This result affirms UIN's commitment to providing the highest standard of education in nursing and professional nurse training.
The Head of the Nursing Study Program, Karyadi, Ph.D., expressed his gratitude and pride in this achievement. "This outcome is a testament to the hard work of all stakeholders. We remain committed to continuously enhancing the quality of education and producing nurses who are not only skilled but also uphold humanitarian and Islamic values in their professional conduct," he stated.
Similarly, the Head of the Professional Nurse Study Program, Maftuhah, Ph,D., shared her perspective. "The 'Excellent' accreditation inspires us to keep innovating in teaching and student services. We aim to ensure our graduates are well-prepared to compete both nationally and internationally while making a meaningful contribution to the healthcare sector," he remarked.
The Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta also extended his profound appreciation to the accreditation team, faculty, students, and all parties involved. "This accreditation reflects our dedication to producing competent, ethical, and value-driven healthcare professionals," he emphasized.
Adding to the pride, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si., revealed that three out of the five programs in the faculty have now achieved an "Excellent" accreditation status. "This milestone demonstrates the exceptional progress of our faculty in providing quality health education. It motivates us to continue striving for excellence and ensuring all programs meet the highest standards of accreditation in the near future," she stated.
With this achievement, the Nursing Study Program and the Professional Nurse Study Program at UIN are further solidified as leading references in health education nationwide. The "Excellent" accreditation not only enhances the university's competitiveness but also provides greater opportunities for its graduates in the workforce and advanced education.
