Pharmacist Candidate Selection for the Faculty of Health Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, 18th Batch: 207 Participants Take CBT and Essay Tests
FIKES News Online – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta once again held the New Student Admissions Selection (SPMB) for the 18th Class of the Pharmacy Professional Study Program (PSPA) for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The selection took place at the CBT Center of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Jakarta, and was divided into two sessions: a morning session (9:00–11:00 a.m. WIB) and an afternoon session (1:00–3:00 p.m. WIB).
The Pharmacist New Student Program (PMB) recorded 211 applicants. Of these, 208 participants passed the file verification, and 207 enthusiastically participated in the selection process. They came from various public and private universities throughout Indonesia, had completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (S1) degrees, and met all academic and administrative requirements set by the committee. The selection process is conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) combined with an essay test to measure analytical skills and comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical field.
The Head of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, apt. Puteri Amelia, M.Farm., Ph.D., stated that the target acceptance for the 18th intake is approximately 60–70 participants who are deemed to best meet the academic, integrity, and professional potential criteria as prospective pharmacists, in accordance with established standards. She also expressed her appreciation for the participants' enthusiasm and the committee's hard work in the selection process. "This selection test not only measures academic ability, but also serves as the first step in developing the character of prospective pharmacists with excellent character and morals. We hope that participants can demonstrate their best potential and proceed to the interview stage with a spirit of professionalism and honesty," she said.
The Pharmacist Professional Study Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Jakarta is one of the PSPAs that has achieved "Excellent" accreditation from the LAM-PTKes. By implementing an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum and supporting a broad network of collaborations with the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, PBFs, and government agencies such as the BPOM (Food and Drug Monitoring Agency) and the Health Department, PSPA UIN Jakarta remains committed to producing professional pharmacists with integrity and global competitiveness.
