Preventing Malnutrition Problems in Baduta, Group 5 of PBL UIN Jakarta Public Health Study Program Helds IMUNISTOP Program

According to Unicef Indonesia, millions of Indonesian children and teenagers are still threatened by the high number of short children (stunting) and wasting, as well as the double burden of malnutrition, both deficiency and excess (Databoks, 2021). This is due to many factors, one of which is the low coverage of complete basic immunization. So it is necessary to prevent malnutrition problems in toddlers. In line with this, UIN Jakarta Public Health Study Program students have implemented an intervention program with the theme "Reducing Stunting Rates with the IMUNISTOP Program (Immunization and Stunting Prevention Optimizing Growth)" which was implemented at PKM Kampung Beting Pemuda RW 019 on 29 February 2024.
This intervention activity was carried out with various preparations, starting from coordinating with parties including Faculty Service Teachers, Field Service Teachers, Koja Community Health Center, Tugu Utara III Subdistrict, Tugu Utara III Community Health Center, and the Head of RW 019. IMUNISTOP Program (Immunization and Stunting Prevention Optimizing Growth ) through GEMPITA (Community Education Movement on the Importance of Immunization Against the Threat of Stunting), VECSA (Educational Video to Prevent Stunting with Immunization), BOT WhatsApp (Immuninder), and Standing Banner. The activity program began by making an educational video with the North Tugu Community Health Center Immunization PJ, RW 019 cadres, and mothers who have children with complete basic immunizations. Next, create a design and arrange materials for the standing banner. Then, the peak event of the IMUNISTOP (Immunization and Stunting Prevention Optimizing Growth) Program is GEMPITA (Community Education Movement on the Importance of Immunization Against the Threat of Stunting). The program is packaged in the form of counseling for pregnant women and mothers who have babies but do not have complete basic immunizations.
GEMPITA (Community Education Movement on the Importance of Immunization Against the Threat of Stunting) was attended by more than 30 participants consisting of representatives from the Tugu Utara III Community Health Center, and representatives from Tugu Utara III Subdistrict, RW 019 cadres, pregnant women, and mothers who have children but have not been immunized. complete basics. In its implementation, the activity began with education regarding "Complete Basic Immunization" delivered by Dian Ferawati, Amd.Keb.,.
