Professional Pharmacist Study Programme

To become an outstanding Professional Pharmacist Study Programme that promotes the development and integration of pharmaceutical science with Islamic values and Indonesian wisdom, producing Muslim pharmacists who are competent and competitive at national and international levels.

  1. To deliver high-quality professional pharmacist education grounded in Islamic values.
  2. To conduct research and community service in pharmacy that contribute to scientific and technological advancement.
  3. To establish productive and sustainable collaborations with stakeholders to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at national and international levels.
  4. To establish opportunities for graduates of madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to pursue high-quality professional pharmacist education.

To produce Muslim pharmacists who demonstrate Islamic integrity, possess national and international competitiveness, and apply halal principles in pharmaceutical practice.

Graduates of the Professional Pharmacist Study Programme are professional pharmacists who are faithful and committed to lifelong learning, reliable and actively engaged in pharmaceutical practice, strong in leadership and rapid decision-making, innovative and opportunity-oriented, caring and effective communicators, and competent in ensuring halal compliance of pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic products.

Graduates are able to:

  1. Demonstrate faith and devotion to Almighty God, uphold humanitarian values, and embody Islamic ethics in pharmaceutical practice.
  2. Demonstrate nationalism, discipline, responsibility, integrity, and compliance with legal, moral, and academic norms.
  3. Address challenges related to the development, management, and provision of pharmaceutical products and services using scientific principles.
  4. Address issues related to contemporary health concerns, medical care, and community well-being.
  5. Enhance professional skills through specialized training and practice.
  6. Evaluate the design, preparation, distribution, management, and provision of pharmaceutical products using evidence-based approaches to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  7. Practice pharmacy professionally and responsibly in accordance with applicable laws and the pharmacist code of ethics.
  8. Demonstrate assertive leadership and entrepreneurial competence.
  9. Make strategic decisions independently and collaboratively while assuming full responsibility in line with regulations.
  10. Collaborate interprofessionally and interpersonally to resolve pharmaceutical issues and build professional and client networks.
  11. Engage in lifelong learning to enhance professional practice.
  12. Conduct internal halal audits of pharmaceutical products.

Research and Community Service

Research productivity and innovation continue to increase through programs at the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and also the Ministry of Religious Affairs Research Grant for PTKIN lecturers. LPPM UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta provides a budget for research, international publications, collaborative research and visiting professors to increase the enthusiasm of lecturers in the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta environment to conduct research that is in line with each lecturer's specialization. Similar budget allocation items are also provided by the Directorate of Islamic Higher Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia which can be accessed by all PTKIN lecturers throughout Indonesia.

ANNOUNCEMENT LETTER OF UKT UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH JAKARTA

Facility

The Faculty of Health Sciences Laboratory is an educational laboratory used for various student practical activities, research, and studies. Various types of equipment are available to support practical work. With the complete equipment in this educational laboratory, every student can use the facilities during the practical work. This laboratory has a very spacious place, so students will be very comfortable when participating in practical work. In addition, various types of safety equipment are also available, so students who are carrying out practical work in the laboratory will feel safe and comfortable.

Library

The library is the heart of a university, supporting the academic activities and dynamics of the university. The library is tasked with providing, managing, and distributing information for education, research, and community service. The Faculty of Health Sciences Library, as a learning center, continues to develop both in quality and quantity to provide excellent service. To date, the library has a printed and electronic collection of more than 6,697 titles, consisting of e-books, journals, theses, and others. The library covers the fields of medicine, health sciences, and Islam. Furthermore, to meet information needs, the FIKES library provides computers equipped with wired and Wi-Fi internet services.

Classroom

On campus, the Faculty of Health Sciences (Fikes) of UIN Syari Hidayatullah Jakarta provides general classrooms for use by all study programs on each campus. These classrooms are typically equipped with LCD projectors, roll-up screens, whiteboards, wireless internet, and some hybrid learning facilities such as microphones and Logitech group conferencing.

Parking Area

The UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Health Faculty (Fikes) has a spacious parking lot divided into two sections: one for cars, one for motorcycles, and one for disabled people. The parking area is equipped with CCTV for security. Furthermore, motorcycle parking at UIN Jakarta is continuously monitored and neatly arranged by PU (General Assistance) officers for easy locating.
