Santri Summit 2025: "Influencers and Santri Provide Inspiration"
Fikes News Online,- The 2025 Santri Summit was held lively at the Harun Nasution Auditorium, Campus I UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, on Sunday (6/29/2025). Carrying the theme "Santri's Contribution to the Country", this event was attended by more than a thousand students and students from various Islamic boarding schools and madrasas in Indonesia, as well as a number of popular influencers known among Gen Z.
The opening of the event was carried out at 08.00 WIB by the Director of Islamic Boarding Schools from the Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Basnang Said, together with the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, Asep Saepudin Jahar. The event was also attended by the vice chancellors, faculty leaders including the PBSB Fikes manager Dr. apt. Nurmeilis, and Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs Fikes Dr. Ns. Uswatun Khasanah, MNS, work unit, Santri Summit initiator Rinaldi Ibrahim, and student community members from the Community of Santri Scholars of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (CSSMoRA) UIN Jakarta.
In addition, the 2025 Santri Summit also serves as an event to introduce the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to the participants. This activity began with the screening of a video profile and facilities of UIN Jakarta, followed by a presentation on the role of UIN Jakarta, including the contribution of the Faculty of Health Sciences as one of the managers of the Outstanding Santri Scholarship Program in the UIN Jakarta environment. The Dean of FIKES UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Apt. Zilhadia, warmly welcomed the implementation of this Santri Summit, because in addition to being a momentum to introduce the faculty, this activity also had a significant positive impact on FIKES and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Basnang Said expressed his pride in the implementation of the 2025 Santri Summit and hoped that this kind of activity would not only stop this year, but could become an annual program that supports the empowerment of santri in a sustainable manner. He emphasized the importance of the spirit and role of santri in national development, so that it can be stronger. He also emphasized that santri are now not only religious symbols, but also the vanguard in the progress of the nation's generation who uphold the values of honesty, integrity, and social concern.
UIN Jakarta Rector, Asep Saepudin Jahar, also gave similar appreciation. He considered that the 2025 Santri Summit was more than just a gathering event, but also a space for collaboration, socialization, and an opportunity to expand networks between santri throughout Indonesia. He hopes that the santri, especially CSSMoRA scholarship recipients, can make real contributions to society and the nation, not only in the academic field, but also in social awareness and a spirit of dedication through the Ministry of Religion as the fostering institution.
The 2025 Santri Summit consists of five talk show sessions with inspiring themes. Dozens of influencers were present to share their experiences, including Rinaldi Nur Ibrahim, Inara Rusli, Shakira Amirah, Wirda Mansur, dr. Elza Amelia Firdaus, EL Alice, Fildzah Izzati Ismah, Rian Fahardhi, Fardi Yandi, Raden Hanif, Teuku Daffa, and other content creators.
The first session themed "Life Motivation for the Young Generation Based on Mental Health and Islamic Spirituality" presented Risty Tagor, Ang Sharly, and Raihan Habib. The second session discussed "Career Motivation and Creative Writing" with Wirda Mansur, Apt. Rinaldi Nur Ibrahim, and Fardi Yandi. The third session on "Maintaining Islamic Values in the Gen Z Era" was filled by Inara Rusli, Widani, and Rasul Amin.
The fourth session shared tips on "Becoming a Content Creator on Social Media" by Bicara Pede and Rian Fahardhi. The last session provided inspiration to work according to passion from Apt. Faqih Difran Hanif, dr. Elza Amelia, and Shakira Amirah.
The entire series of events for the 2025 Santri Summit was a success and was open to students and the general public at no cost. The event was even more lively with art performances, socialization, screening of inspirational videos, and awards for creative video competitions. (UK/ZD)
