Student Clerkship Pledge Activities for Nursing Science Class of 2022
Fikes News Online,- The Nursing Science Study Program of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta's class of 2022 held its Registrar's Pledge at the MK Tajudin Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine, UIN Jakarta, on Tuesday (May 29, 2025).
This activity aimed to strengthen students' readiness to undergo the clinical clerkship process. The Registrar's Pledge is an initial symbol of students' readiness to assume the responsibilities of ethical, professional, and high-integrity nurses.
The event began with registration of participants and invited guests, handled by the committee from the catering division. After registration, participants were directed to line up before entering the event hall.
The series of activities was opened by MCs Nafis and Miftah. Afterward, participants entered the ceremony hall, led by the committee. The event continued with a prayer and Quranic recitation by Umar, and the singing of Indonesia Raya, led by conductor Selsa.
The ceremony was officially opened with a gavel by the Head of the Study Program, Karyadi, M.Kep., Ph.D. Students then participated in the recitation of the Registrar's Oath, led by a clergyman, witnessed by the Head of the Study Program and lecturers.
The event continued with the singing of "Bagimu Negeri" (For You, the Nation), followed by the signing of the oath by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Collaboration, Ms. Uswatun Khasanah, S.Kep., MNS.
Following this, a symbolic handover of the Registrar's attributes was held from the Head of the Study Program to Shafira and Salman, student representatives.
The entire event was documented by the committee. Following this, remarks were delivered by the Head of the Study Program and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, who offered messages of encouragement to all students.
The event concluded with the singing of the UIN Hymn and the FIKes March. The Head of Study Program officially closed the event with a closing prayer from Umar. The MC concluded the event.
The Nursing Student Clerkship Pledge proceeded smoothly and solemnly. Hopefully, this event will be a meaningful and responsible first step in entering the world of clinical practice and strengthen our resolve to become professional nurses with integrity and integrity. (zr)
