The Australia-Indonesia Centre Bilateral Nursing Workshop in Melbourne Australia
Online Fikes News,- On April 29- May 2, 2024, Mrs. Eni Nuraini Agustini, PhD, a lecturer in the Nursing Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, received an invitation from The Australia-Indonesia Centre to attend The Australia-Indonesia Centre Bilateral Nursing Workshop. Mrs. Eni Nuraini Agustini, PhD, is one of the advisory members of the Bilateral Nursing Project between Indonesia and Australia. The Australia-Indonesia Centre Bilateral Nursing Workshop aims to build shared bilateral understanding among key professionals nursing bodies on practical steps to increase bilateral cooperation between Indonesian and Australian nursing professions leading to a potential Mutual Recognition Agreement
During the event, Mrs. Eni Nuraini Agustini emphasized that discussing the nursing profession means not only ensuring that Indonesian nurses' competencies are on par with the standards of nursing competence in Australia but also ensuring the protection of Indonesian nurses who will work in Australia.
The meeting's agenda also included visits to Monash Nursing Campus in Peninsula and Monash Hospitals. The visit to Monash Nursing Campus included tours of the Nursing Laboratory, classrooms, library, and facilities for student activities.
Meanwhile, the visit to Monash Hospital included observing nursing management and inpatient facilities in the adult and pediatric wards.
