The Faculty of Health Sciences, UIN Jakarta, is exploring collaboration on international nurse placement with Relocal Sdn. Bhd.
FIKES Online News - The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta received a visit from Relocal Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia, to discuss strategic collaboration opportunities related to the placement program for professional nurses abroad, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The meeting took place on Thursday, April 22, 2026, in the Main Meeting Room (RRU) of FKIK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Health Sciences, represented by the Vice Dean for Cooperation, Dr. Ns. Uswatun Khasanah; the Head of the Nursing and Professional Nursing Study Program, Maftuhah, Ph.D.; the Head of the Career Center, Muhammad Kholis Hamdy, S.Sos.I., M.Int.Dev.; and the Career Development Center Team; and representatives from Relocal Sdn. Bhd. The meeting aimed to explore collaboration in global career development for FIKES UIN Jakarta Nursing graduates.
In their presentation, Relocal explained that the company is a Malaysia-based global healthcare mobility platform focused on placing healthcare professionals in GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, as well as creating job opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia. Programs offered include English language development, preparation for international certifications such as Prometric, NCLEX, and DHA, and facilitation of recruitment, administration, immigration, and relocation processes.

The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Jakarta welcomed the collaboration opportunity as a strategic step in enhancing the global competitiveness of graduates. The faculty also expressed its readiness to facilitate outreach to final-year students and alumni, provide guidance to qualified graduates, and support the program's administrative coordination.
The discussions covered various important aspects, from candidate selection mechanisms, graduates' readiness to meet international standards, to the importance of strengthening English language skills and obtaining international professional certifications from the start of their studies. Furthermore, the two parties discussed plans for initial activities, including seminars or webinars to introduce the program to students and alumni.
Dr. Uswatun, Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Health Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, stated that this collaboration opportunity is a crucial step in preparing graduates who are able to compete globally.
"We hope this collaboration will open up international career opportunities for FIKES UIN Jakarta nursing graduates. In addition to clinical competence, strengthening English language skills, professionalism, and readiness for international certifications needs to be prepared while students are still in their studies," said the Deputy Dean III of FIKES UIN Jakarta.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue communication and coordination in developing follow-up programs, including initial outreach activities for students and alumni. This collaboration is expected to become one of the strategic efforts of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) UIN Jakarta in supporting the development of internationally competitive graduates.
