Fikes Online News, - It started with an invitation from Mr Fons van Oosterhout, Director of the Erasmus Training Center who wished to meet the Managing Director: Kees Wagenaar, Managing Director of TOS based in Rotterdam in 1992 (https://www.tos. nl/), then on January 10 2023 at the Erasmus Training Center a meeting was held between the Director of the Erasmus Training Center, TOS, Susie Care, and from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, represented by Deputy Chancellor 4 for Cooperation Dr Din Wahid, Deputy Dean 1 Fikes, Dr apt Nurmeilis and Deputy Dean 3 Dr Ns Uswatun Khasanah discussed the possibility of collaboration, especially with regard to alumni.

TOS, represented by Mr Sander, presented cooperation in the field of sending alumni as health workers in the Netherlands. The need for health workers in the Netherlands and Europe is still very open, this is due to the lack of health workers on the European continent. In the Netherlands alone, the shortage of health workers is 49,000 health workers and is estimated to increase to 232,000 by 2033. For this reason, European countries need health workers from various countries, including Indonesia, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia and Cyprus. Moreover, currently the annual number of health worker graduates in Indonesia is quite high. Various benefits of working abroad were also presented. These include being one of the solutions to the shortage of health workers in Europe, increasing professional competence, directly improving foreign language skills and multicultural skills and also having good prospects in terms of income.

TOS and Susie Care then on January 12 2023 visited the Faculty of Health Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah where they were welcomed by the Dean of Fikes Prof Dr apt Zilhadia M Si, Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation Dr Din Wahid, deputy deans, heads of study programs and secretary of study programs from the Nursing Science Study Program and Nurses at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. After chatting for a while, the visit continued with seeing the educational facilities at Fikes, including meeting Fikes students.
