News Fikes Online - Faculty of Health Sciences UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a tradition of ‘Munggahan’ on 26 February 2025 in the Main Meeting Room of FKIK Building UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The event was attended by Lecturers and Education Personnel of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The ‘Munggahan’ tradition is an activity held before the holy month of Ramadan as a form of gratitude and preparation to welcome the month full of blessings. The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and ended with a friendly lunch together.

In his remarks the Dean of Fikes Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia M. Si. said that our gathering here is a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. Alhamdulillah and God willing, we are reunited with the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 Hijrah. Hopefully in carrying out fasting worship can run solemnly and smoothly. And if I am wrong intentionally or unintentionally, or if I offend, please forgive me, she said.

Zilhadia also added, ‘Insha'Allah, in the month of Ramadan this time a special menu has been prepared for FIKES residents, in the form of positive activities to increase religious knowledge by presenting experienced speakers in their fields. The activity with the theme ‘Healthy Synergy and Ramadan Spirit’ is planned to be held every Saturday morning for two hours, starting from 1 to 22 March 2025 through online media (Zoom).’

After the speech, the event continued with a friendly gathering to strengthen the relationship, greetings (forgive each other) and lunch together involving all participants present.

The moment of Ramadan is the right time to improve ourselves and improve the quality of worship. With a clean and spacious heart, all of us (Muslims) can welcome Ramadan with full seriousness.

Hopefully this munggahan event can be a momentum for all of us to get closer to Allah SWT and improve the quality of our worship in the holy month of Ramadan. آمين. (JH)
